Our Galleries

The historic KK Berge building in downtown Granite Falls is not only our Arts Council’s home base, it’s where you can find our Makers on the Minnesota Gift Shop and both our galleries. The exhibits change every month, and we usually host an artist reception on each month’s second Thursday evening.

The RIVERSIDE Gallery, deeper into the space and overlooking the Minnesota River, showcases work from local and visiting established artists of all mediums, as well as special traveling or collaborative exhibits.

The EMERGING Artists’ Gallery, visible immediately in the window street side of the KK Berge, offers an opportunity for artists at an emergent stage of their careers, or emerging into a new medium, to display their evolving works.

Sometimes we combine the adaptive spaces to allow for larger exhibits or unusual experiences! We’ve hosted international and group artist showcases, immersive installations with sound, performances with relics, sound art, digital and glitch art, fabric and fashion art, interactive storytelling, metal work, woodworking, ceramics, and all manner of 2D and 3D visual arts.
